Q: How to remove the power steering fluid reservoir?
A:
You need to place the hydraulic pump on a fixed, flat surface with the shaft facing upward, insert a screwdriver into the retaining clip tab, use the screwdriver to force the retaining clip tab outward, slide the reservoir clip away from the hydraulic pump assembly, repeat the above steps to remove the second reservoir clip, remove the reservoir from the hydraulic pump housing, then remove and discard the O-ring seal.

Q: What is the proper way to install the power steering fluid reservoir?
A:
You should lubricate the new O-ring seal with power steering fluid, install the new O-ring seal onto the neck of the reservoir, install the reservoir onto the hydraulic pump assembly, align the feet of the reservoir with the sides of the hydraulic pump housing, then install the new reservoir retaining clips (supplied with the pump).
