A:
You need to open and support the hood, remove the hood latch cable from the hood latch, remove the hood latch cable retaining clips, attach a length of mechanics wire to the hood latch cable, remove the hood release handle, remove the hood latch cable and grommet rearward from the passenger compartment, then transfer the lead wire to the new hood latch cable.

You need to install the hood release cable and hood release handle to the vehicle, route the hood release cable to the brake pedal bracket plate panel, install the hood release cable to the hood latch, press the hood release cable grommet into place to install the grommet to the brake pedal bracket plate, install the hood release handle to the instrument panel, install the bolts/screws to the hood release handle, then install the knee bolster.
