You need to raise and support the vehicle, position the drain pan, next remove the transaxle oil cooler hoses from the transaxle oil cooler fittings, and remove the transaxle oil cooler fittings from the transaxle.

01/11/2022Q: What is the proper way to install the automatic transmission oil cooler fitting?
A:
You should apply sealant GM P/N 12345382 or equivalent to transaxle oil cooler fittings, install the transaxle oil cooler fitting to the transaxle, install the transaxle oil cooler hoses to the transaxle oil cooler fittings, then lower the vehicle, adjust the fluid level, inspect for proper completion of the repairs, and inspect for fluid leaks.
