Q: How to remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil?

You need to disable the SIR system, remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module, remove the steering wheel, and remove the upper and lower steering column shrouds, then disconnect the radio steering wheel controls inline connector C205 located at the base of the steering column, remove the wiring harness straps from the steering wheel column wiring harness, remove the retaining ring, finally remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil from the steering shaft.

You should install the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil to the steering shaft, install the retaining ring, route the lower coil wiring harness along the steering column and install the necessary wiring harness straps, connect the radio steering wheel controls inline connector C205, install the upper and lower steering column shrouds, then install the steering wheel, install the inflatable restraint steering wheel module, and enable the SIR system.
