Q: What is the removal procedure for the thermostat housing?
A:
You need to disconnect the negative battery cable, drain the engine cooling system, release the hose clamp to remove the upper radiator hose at the thermostat housing cap, remove the two retaining bolts to remove the water outlet, the thermostat, and the O-ring from the thermostat housing, the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor, and the two bolts to remove the thermostat housing and gasket from the cylinder head.
