2001 Chevrolet Metro Engine Main Bearing

You need to disconnect the negative battery cable, raise and correctly support the vehicle, place a drain pan or a suitable container underneath the engine oil pan, remove the engine oil drain plug and the gasket, the front pipe assembly, the two bolts and the flywheel inspection cover, the 16 bolts, the crankshaft sensor, the 2 nuts, the engine oil pan, and the oil pump strainer, remove the 10 main bearing bolts, the 5 main bearing caps with lower inserts and the 5 upper inserts from the cylinder block.

The recommended torque is 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.).
