No, you cannot remove the Radiator Cap or surge tank cap while the engine is hot.
Q: How to install the thermostat?
A:
You need to install the Thermostat, the coolant outlet, the bolt, the ground leads to the bolt and the air cleaner assembly. Then you can refill the coolant and start the engine.
Q: How to remove the water pump?
A:
After draining the coolant from the radiator, you can remove the air cleaner assembly, the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor, the upper fan shroud, the drive belt, the fan, and the fan blade clutch assembly. Then you can remove the coolant pump pulley bolts and the pulley. Next, you can disconnect the coolant bypass hose, the clamps, and the radiator hoses. Then you can remove the four coolant pump bolts, the coolant pump, and the gaskets. After that, you can inspect all the parts.
