After raising the vehicle, you need to remove the tire and wheel assembly. Then you need to remove the brake drum, the brake shoe return springs, the brake shoe guide, the hold-down springs, the hold-down pins, the actuator lever and the actuator lever pivot, and the lever return spring. Then you can remove the park brake strut, the strut spring, the adjusting screw assembly, and the adjusting screw spring. After that, you need to inspect all remaining parts for discoloration.

You need to install the backing plate, the backing plate bolts, the axle shaft, the wheel cylinder, the brake shoes, the brake drum, the tire, and the wheel assembly. Then you can lower the vehicle and bleed the brake system.
