Q: How to install the idle air control (IAC) motor?
A:
After measuring the distance between the tip of the IAC valve pintle and the mounting flange, you can lubricate the IAC valve O-ring with clean engine oil and install the IAC valve assembly and the attaching fasteners. After connecting the IAC harness connector, you can install the engine cover and reset the IAC valve pintle position.

Q: How to remove the throttle body?
A:
After disconnecting the negative battery cable, you need to remove the engine cover, the air cleaner outlet resonator, the air cleaner outlet resonator adapter stud, the cruise control cable, the accelerator cable, the stud, and the nuts. Then you need to disconnect the (IAC) valve harness connector and the (TP) sensor harness connector. Next, you can remove the Throttle Body retaining studs and the throttle body assembly. Then you can discard the throttle body seal.
Q: How to remove the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor?
A:
You need to turn off the ignition and remove the engine cover. Then you can disconnect the MAP Sensor harness connector and remove the MAP sensor by pulling straight up with a slight rocking motion. After that, you can remove the MAP sensor grommet and discard the MAP sensor grommet.
