After removing the engine cover, you need to disconnect the spark plug wires and ignition coil wire from the distributor. Then you can disconnect the camshaft position (CMP) sensor harness connector. After that, you can remove the distributor cap screws, the distributor cap, the rotor screws, and the rotor. Then you need to align the square slot and remove the CMP screws and the CMP sensor.

Q: How to install the camshaft position sensor?
A:
After inserting the CMP sensor and installing new CMP mounting screws, you can install the rotor, the new rotor screws, the distributor cap, and the new distributor cap screws. Then you can connect the CMP sensor harness connector, the spark plug wires, and the ignition coil wire. After that, you need to install the engine cover.
