After raising the vehicle, you need to remove the tire and wheel assembly. Then you need to remove the brake drum, the brake shoe return springs, the brake shoe guide, the hold-down springs, the hold-down pins, the actuator lever and the actuator lever pivot, and the lever return spring. Then you can remove the park brake strut, the strut spring, the adjusting screw assembly, and the adjusting screw spring. After that, you need to inspect all remaining parts for discoloration.
