Q: How to install the rocker arm assembly?
A:
You can blow oil out of the tapped holes in the cylinder head, lubricate the ends of the push rod(s) with clean engine oil, install the push rod(s) to the same position the push rod(s) was removed from, the push rod guide plate(s), the valve rocker arm(s), the valve rocker arm bolt(s), the valve rocker arm cover(s), and inspect the valve train for noise.

Q: What is the service and repair procedure for the valve cover gasket?
A:
The procedure is to remove the fuel injector sight shield, the left engine mount strut, the 1-3-5 spark plug plastic retaining channel (cover) clip/bracket from the engine and discard, any plastic (polypropylene) conduit, all six spark plug wires from the ignition coils only, the supercharger drive belt, the supercharger drive belt tensioner, the left engine mount strut bracket as assembly, the left or front engine valve cover, install a new left or front Valve Cover Gasket, the left engine mount strut bracket assembly to the cylinder head, all six spark plug wires to the ignition coils, a 7 mm four-wire retainer, P/N 88891792, the supercharger drive belt idler pulley and bolt, left engine mount strut bracket, fuel injector sight shield, inspect for the proper oil level, for any oil leaks.
Q: How to install the lifter/lash adjuster?
A:
You can dip the Valve Lifters in prelude GM P/N 12345501 or equivalent, install the valve lifters to the same position that the valve lifters were removed from, the valve lifter guide(s), the valve lifter guide bolt, the push rod guide plate, the push rod(s), the valve rocker arm(s) and the valve rocker arm bolt(s), the right or the left valve rocker cover, and the lower intake manifold.
Q: How to remove the valve spring?
A:
You can remove the right or the left valve rocker cover, the valve rocker arm and push rod, the spark plug(s) from the cylinder(s) that is being serviced, install the J 23590 to the spark plug port, apply compressed air to hold the valves closed, the J 38606 on the Valve Spring, the valve spring using the J 38606, the valve locks, the valve spring and cap, the valve stem oil seal, and inspect the valve spring for bent, cracked, or broken parts.
