You can remove the engine front cover, align the timing marks on the sprockets so that they are as close as possible, remove the Timing Chain dampener, the camshaft sprocket bolt, the camshaft sprocket, and the timing chain, the crankshaft sprocket, the balance shaft drive gear to access the camshaft thrust plate, the camshaft thrust plate bolts, the camshaft thrust plate, the balance shaft driven gear bolt, and the balance shaft driven gear.

You can install the drive Belt Tensioner, the drive belt tensioner bolts, the heater hose adapters with the heater hoses to the drive belt tensioner, the generator, the drive belt, the coolant recovery reservoir, fill the cooling system, and connect the negative battery cable.

You can disconnect the negative battery cable, drain the engine oil, and the cooling system, remove the drive belt tensioner, the water pump pulley, and the crankshaft balancer, pry out the crankshaft front oil seal with a suitable tool such as a large screwdriver, disconnect the electrical connectors, remove the crankshaft position sensor shield, the radiator outlet hose from the water pump, install the engine support fixture, remove the crankshaft position sensor, the engine front cover bolt, the engine front cover with the oil filter adapter as one assembly, the engine front cover gasket, the water pump from the engine front cover, the oil pump cover and gear set from the engine front cover, inspect the timing chain for overall in and out movement, the sprockets for wear, and the oil pan gasket.
