2001 Buick Regal Fuel Sending Unit

You can remove the fuel system fuel pressure, the rear compartment trim panel, the nuts retaining the fuel sender access panel, the fuel sender access panel, the fuel tank pressure sensor electrical connector, the fuel tank pressure sensor, the fuel sender electrical connector, the fuel pipes, and the quick connect fittings at the fuel sender assembly.

You can position the new fuel sender assembly seal on the fuel tank, install the fuel sender assembly into the fuel tank, the fuel sender assembly retaining ring, the fuel tank pressure sensor, the fuel tank pressure sensor electrical connector, the quick connect fittings at the fuel sender assembly, the negative battery cable, the fuel sender access panel, the nuts retaining the fuel sender access panel, the rear compartment trim panel, and the fuel injection sight shield.

You can install the fuel level sensor, connect the fuel pump harness connector, the fuel level sensor harness connector under the fuel sender cover, install the fuel level sensor harness retaining clip, and the fuel sender assembly.

You can remove the fuel sender assembly, the retaining clip from the fuel level sensor harness connector, disconnect the fuel level sensor harness connector from under the fuel sender cover, the fuel pump harness connector, squeeze the locking tangs and remove the fuel level sensor.
