You can remove the left-side instrument panel insulator, disconnect the electrical connector from the stop lamp switch, and remove the stop lamp switch.

Q: How to adjust the brake light switch?
A:
You can fully insert the stop lamp switch and the cruise control switch, the brake pedal forward in order to set the brake push rod into the booster, pull the brake pedal to the rear, against the internal stop, and inspect the stop lamp switch for proper adjustment.

A:
You can connect a Tech 2 to the Data Link Connector (DLC), turn the ignition switch on, select °Diagnostics° and input all of the required data to select the correct vehicle when prompted by the Tech 2, °Body° and then °Body Control Module°, °Special Functions°, °New VIN° and follow the screen directions to input all required data, and °BCM Reprogramming°.
Q: How to remove the turn signal flasher?
A:
You can remove the LH instrument panel (IP) insulator, and the steering column filler panel, grasp the hazard and turn signal flasher and slide the flasher to the right to release the flasher tabs from the slots on the BCM bracket, and the electrical connector from the hazard and turn signal flasher.
