The recommended torque is 24 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).

Q: How do you remove the steering knuckle?
A:
You can remove the tire and wheel, disconnect the tie rod from the steering knuckle, and remove the front brake caliper, the hub/rotor, the steering knuckle seal, and the three bolts that attach the splash shield to the knuckle. Using the J23742 separate the upper and the lower ball joint studs from the steering knuckle. Remove the wheel speed sensor from the steering knuckle and the knuckle.
