You can remove the engine cover, disconnect the spark plug wire at each spark plug on the left side of the engine, the spark plug wire at each spark plug on the right side of the engine, the spark plug wire from the distributor, remove the spark plug wires from the wire clips, the coil wire from the distributor and the coil.

You can apply a small amount of dielectric silicone grease GM P/N 12345579 in both boots of the spark plug wires, install the coil wire to the coil and the distributor, the spark plug wires at the distributor, the spark plug wire to each spark plug on the right side of the engine, the spark plug wire to each spark plug on the left side of the engine, the spark plug wires in the clips, the engine cover.
