A:
You can install the rear cable to the vehicle, connect the rear cable to the backing plate retainer, the rear brake shoes to the backing plate, the front cable to the rear cables, remove the pin from the lever, place the lever to the FULL up position, measure the threads of the equalizer.

Q: How do you remove the Park Brake cable?
A:
You can complete the lever pin-up procedure, loosen the cable at the cable adjuster, disconnect the front cable from the rear cables, remove the release handle and the cable from the vehicle, disconnect the front cable from the lever, the front cable from the lever retainer, remove the rubber grommet by gently pulling it through the cowl, the front cable from the vehicle.

Q: How do you remove the backing brake cable?
A:
You can complete the lever pin-up procedure, loosen the cable at the cable adjuster, disconnect the front cable from the rear cables, remove the rear brake shoes from the backing plate, disconnect the cable from the backing plate retainer, and remove the rear cable from the vehicle.

You can install the front cable through the vehicle, the rubber grommet by firmly pressing it into the cowl, connect the cable to the lever retainer, the front cable to the lever, install the release handle and the cable, connect the front cable to the rear cables, remove the pin from the lever, move the lever to the FULL up position, measure the threads on the equalizer.
