29/10/2022Q: How to release fuel pressure?
A:
You can disconnect the negative battery cable, loosen the fuel filler cap, connect the J 34730-1A gauge or the equivalent to the fuel pressure connection, wrap a shop towel around the fitting while connecting the gauge to avoid spillage, install the bleed hose of the gauge into an approved container, open the valve on the gauge to bleed the system pressure, and drain any fuel remaining in the gauge.
