The proper way is to install the wiper motor to the liftgate with the two bolts, and tighten the bolts to 7.0 N.m (62 lb in), then install the seal, the spacer, and the nut, and tighten the nut to 6.0 N.m (53 lb in), then install the wiper arm and blade, connect the wiper motor electrical connector and install the life gate garnish molding.
