The installation procedure is to install the automatic transfer case control module into the retainer with the three screws and tighten the screws to 6 Nm (53-inch lbs.), connect the two wiring harness connectors to the automatic transfer case control module then start the engine and test the automatic transfer case system for proper shift operation.

Q: What should be noticed when I install the cooler lines to the vehicle?
A:
You will need to ensure that the cooler line being installed has a plastic cap on each end that connects to a quick-connect fitting. If no plastic cap exists, or the plastic cap is damaged, obtain a new plastic cap and position it on to the cooler line before the cooler line installation.
Q: How to verify good continuity in a circuit with a DMM?
A:
You can set the rotary dial of the DMM to the Ohm position, disconnect the power feed (i.e. fuse, control module) from the suspect circuit, then disconnect the load, press the MIN MAX button on the DMM, connect one lead of the DMM to one end of the circuit to be tested, and connect the other lead of the DMM to the other end of the circuit. If the DMM displays low or no resistance and a tone is heard, the circuit has good continuity.
