The installation procedure is to install the flow control spring, lubricate the new O-ring seal with power steering fluid, install the O-ring seal onto the connector and fitting assembly, install the control valve assembly and the connector and fitting assembly then tighten the connector and fitting assembly to 75 Nm (55 ft. lbs.).

The recommended torque is 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.) for the power steering mounting bolts and 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.) for the power steering nut.

Q: What's the removal procedure for the power steering pump flow control valve?
A:
The removal procedure is to drain the oil from the reservoir, remove the connector and fitting assembly, remove the control valve assembly from the pump housing and make sure the flow control spring does not fall out of the pump housing, finally remove and discard the O-ring seal from the connector and fitting assembly.

Q: What's the proper way to install the power steering pump pulley?
A:
The proper way is to place the pulley on the end of the pump shaft, install the J 25033-C, and ensure that the pilot bolt is bottomed in the shaft, then hold the pilot bolt and turn the nut clockwise to seat the pulley.
