Q: How to reset the IAC valve pintle position with the scan tool?
A:
You can connect the scan tool to the DLC, then turn ON the ignition leaving the engine OFF, then using the scan tool, select IAC Reset in Special Functions, next activate the reset function and wait for the IAC counter to stop, start the engine and check for proper idle speed.

The proper way is to clean the gasket surface on the intake manifold, install the Throttle Body assembly with a new seal, install the throttle body assembly retaining studs, then install the air cleaner outlet duct adapter stud.
Q: What's the removal procedure for the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor?
A:
The removal procedure is to disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the engine cover, then disconnect the MAP Sensor harness connector, remove the MAP sensor and discard the MAP sensor grommet.
Q: What's the installation procedure for the air filter element?
A:
The installation procedure is to insert the air cleaner element into the air cleaner tub, install the air cleaner cover, and fasten the air cleaner cover retainer clips.
