The removal procedure is to drain the engine coolant, raise the vehicle, disconnect the auxiliary heater rear pipes from the heater core inlet and outlet tubes, disconnect the auxiliary heater rear pipes from the front pipes, then remove the pipe retainers from the body and remove the auxiliary heater rear pipes.

Q: What's the installation procedure for the auxiliary rear heater pipe?
A:
The installation procedure is to install the auxiliary heater rear pipes and the pipe retainers, connect the auxiliary heater rear pipes to the front pipes, connect the rear pipes to the auxiliary heater core inlet and outlet tubes, then fill the cooling system with engine coolant, lower the vehicle and inspect the system for leaks.

Q: How to remove the auxiliary heater front pipes?
A:
You will need to drain the engine coolant, raise the vehicle, remove the front pipes, the bolts that retain the front pipes to the body, and the clips that retain the front pipes to the body, then remove the auxiliary heater front pipe from the heater hoses and remove the auxiliary heater front pipes.

Q: What's the removal procedure for the heater hoses?
A:
The removal procedure is to remove the air cleaner, drain the engine coolant, use the J 38185 to remove the hose clamps, then remove the heater hose support bolt from the clamp and remove the clamp from the heater hoses, lastly disconnect the inlet and the outlet hoses from the heater core and the water valve.
