Q: What's the removal procedure for the fuel strainer?
A:
The removal procedure is to disconnect the negative battery cable, relieve the fuel system pressure, drain and remove the fuel tank, then remove the fuel sender assembly, note the position of the fuel strainer on the fuel sender, then support the fuel sender assembly with one hand and grasp the strainer with the other hand, pull the strainer off the fuel sender, inspect the strainer.

Q: How do you inspect for fuel leaks?
A:
You can turn ON the ignition for 2 seconds, turn OFF the ignition for 10 seconds, then turn ON the ignition, and inspect for fuel leaks.
