A:
The proper way is to install the fuel level sensor and the fuel level sensor retaining clip, connect the fuel level sensor electrical connector, the fuel level sensor electrical connector retaining clip, and the fuel pump electrical connector, then install the fuel sender assembly, install and refill the fuel tank and tighten the fuel filler cap, lastly connect the negative battery cable and inspect for leaks.

A:
You can turn ON the ignition for 2 seconds, turn OFF the ignition for 10 seconds, then turn ON the ignition, and inspect for fuel leaks.

You will need J 34730-1A Fuel Pressure Gauge and J 39765 Fuel Sender Lock Nut Wrench.
