Q: How to release the lock on the cable adjuster?
A:
You can gently squeeze the tabs on the adjuster plunger, pull upward on the adjuster plunger, then rotate the black plastic screw on the cruise control cable end, that connects to the throttle body, until a 0.0-0.6 mm (0.00.024 in) lash is achieved.

Q: What should not be done when removing the cruise control servo cable?
A:
You mustn't remove the C clip from the cruise control end connector or remove the adjuster screw from the end of the cruise control cable or allow the cruise control ribbon to retract into the module assembly.
