The removal procedure is to drain the coolant to a level below the Thermostat, remove the air cleaner assembly, then disconnect the ground lead from the coolant outlet, remove the bolt/stud and the bolt on the coolant outlet, the coolant outlet, the thermostat, then clean all of the parts and the sealing surfaces.
Q: What should be noticed when you remove the gaskets?
A:
You will need to make sure all of the gasket mating surfaces are free of burrs or other imperfections.
Q: What's the installation procedure for the coolant reservoir?
A:
The installation procedure is to connect the electrical connector(s) and the washer hose(s) to the washer pump(s), install the coolant recovery reservoir, the retainers, and the coolant recovery reservoir hose, then refill the coolant recovery reservoir with coolant to the proper level.
