Q: What's the removal procedure for the connecting rod?
A:
The removal procedure is to raise the vehicle, remove the prevailing torque nut from the connecting rod ball stud, use the J 24319-B to remove the connecting rod from the relay rod, remove the prevailing torque nut from the pitman arm ball stud, use the J 24319-B to remove the connecting rod from the pitman's arm, inspect the ball stud threads for damage, inspect the ball stud seals for excessive wear, clean the threads on the ball stud.
