The proper way is to install the brake hose, the gaskets, and the bolt then tighten the bolt to 44 Nm (32 ft. lbs.), then install the retainer, loosely connect the pipe nut, tighten the pipe nut to 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.), lower the vehicle and bleed the brake system.
