28/10/2022Q: How do you remove the evaporator core?
A:
You can remove the air cleaner, recover the refrigerant and remove the coolant recovery reservoir, then disconnect the electrical connectors, remove the compressor hose assembly from the accumulator, the bypass valve bracket from the outer case, the evaporator tube from the accumulator, and then remove the relay bracket, the evaporator tube, the screws from the outer evaporator case, the outer case from the module then split the evaporator module in half, finally remove the inner case from the module and the evaporator core.
