You should disconnect the electrical connector at the engine oil pressure gauge sensor, hold the engine oil pressure sensor fitting with a wrench, remove the engine oil pressure gauge sensor using J 41712 and remove the engine oil pressure gauge sensor fitting.

01/11/2022Q: How do I install the Oil Pressure Sensor?
A:
You should apply sealant GM P/N 12346004 or equivalent to the threads of the engine oil pressure sensor fitting, install the engine oil pressure sensor fitting, rotate the engine oil pressure sensor fitting clockwise, install the oil pressure gauge sensor, hold the oil pressure gauge sensor fitting, and then install the electrical connector.
