2000 Chevrolet Venture Timing Chain

The recommended torque is 21 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).

First, you should install the crankshaft sprocket and the timing chain dampener. In addition, you should align the timing mark on the camshaft gear with the timing mark on top of the timing chain dampener. Next, you should draw the camshaft sprocket onto the camshaft. Finally, you should coat the crankshaft and camshaft sprocket with engine oil.
