2000 Chevrolet Tracker Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor

The procedure is to remove the fuel tank from the vehicle, remove both the attaching bolts, remove the electrical connector from the fuel tank pressure sensor, and then remove the fuel tank pressure sensor.

The proper way is to open the harness, cut the wire, select the proper size and type of wire, strip the insulation, select the proper splice sleeve and the required crimp nest tool, place the nesting tool in the J 38125 crimp tool, insert the wires into the splice sleeve until the wire hits the barrel stop, close the handles of the J 38125 until the crimper handles open when released, and then shrink the insulation around the splice.

The proper way is to install the fuel tank pressure sensor, install both of the retaining bolts, connect the electrical connector to the fuel tank pressure sensor, and then install the fuel tank.
