A:
The proper way is to open the harness, cut the wire, select the proper size and type of wire, strip the insulation, select the proper splice sleeve and the required crimp nest tool, place the nesting tool in the J 38125 crimp tool, insert the wires into the splice sleeve until the wire hits the barrel stop, close the handles of the J 38125 until the crimper handles open when released, and then shrink the insulation around the splice.
