The proper way is to install the turn/hazard flasher to the junction block, install the bracket that contains the fuel pump relay and the main relay to the left front side of the junction block, and then install the IP steering column opening trim plate.

Q: What is the removal procedure for the hazard warning flasher?
A:
The procedure is to remove the IP steering column opening trim plate, remove the 2 nuts that retain the junction block to the left hinge pillar, remove the nut that retains the junction block to the bulkhead, remove the junction block from the 3 retaining studs to gain the necessary clearance to disconnect the electrical connectors from the rear of the junction block, and then remove the turn/hazard flasher from the junction block by disengaging the retaining tabs and pulling the flasher straight out.
