Q: How do you install the starter motor?
A:
You can verify the correct starter motor is being installed, align the starter motor to the engine, install any shims and the starter bolts, connect the positive battery cable, install the solenoid BAT terminal nut, connect the starter solenoid wire, install the starter solenoid S terminal nut, install the torque converter covers, install the front lower air deflector panel, lower the vehicle and connect the battery negative cable.

A:
The procedure is to disconnect the battery negative cable, raise the vehicle, remove the front lower air deflector panel, the torque converter covers, and the starter solenoid BAT terminal nut, disconnect the positive battery cable, remove the starter solenoid S terminal nut, disconnect the starter solenoid wire and remove the starter bolts, the starter motor, and the shims.
