Q: How do you install the hazard warning switch?
A:
You can install the hazard warning switch, connect the electrical connector, press the IP cluster trim plate into the IP trim pad, install the IP cluster trim plate screws, and the LH instrument panel (IP) fuse block access opening cover (Monte Carlo Only) and the steering column filler, close the instrument panel compartment door, install the ignition switch cylinder bezel, reposition the steering wheel, position the transaxle shift control indicator to Park and release the parking brake.

Q: What is the removal procedure for the hazard warning switch?
A:
The procedure is to apply the parking brake, position the transaxle shift control indicator to 1, adjust the steering wheel, remove the ignition switch cylinder bezel, the RH and LH instrument panel (IP) fuse block access opening covers (Impala Only), the LH instrument panel (IP) fuse block access opening cover (Monte Carlo Only) and the steering column filler, open the instrument panel compartment door, remove the IP cluster trim plate screws, grasp the trim plate and pull rearward, disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the hazard warning switch.
