A:
You can relieve the fuel system fuel pressure, clean all engine fuel pipe connections, clean areas surrounding the engine fuel pipe connections, remove the fuel feed and fuel return pipe quick-connect fitting, raise the vehicle, disconnect the fuel return pipe quick-connect fitting and the fuel feed pipe threaded fitting, cap the in-pipe fuel filter pipe, the fuel feed pipe, and the fuel return pipe, remove the fuel feed, fuel return, EVAP pipe attaching hardware, note the position of the fuel and EVAP pipes and the fuel and EVAP pipe attaching hardware, inspect the pipes for bends, kinks and cracks and repair or replace the pipe or pipes.

Q: What is the proper way to install the fuel supply line?
A:
You can install the new fuel feed, fuel return, and EVAP pipes and the fuel and EVAP pipe attaching hardware, remove the caps, connect the fuel return pipe quick-connect fitting, connect the fuel feed pipe threaded fitting, inspect and make sure all of the fuel pipe bundle clips, and fasteners are properly installed, lower the vehicle, connect the fuel feed, and fuel return pipe quick-connect fittings, tighten the fuel fill cap, connect the negative battery cable, inspect for leaks and install the fuel injection sight shield.
