The procedure is to remove two-thirds of the brake fluid, raise the vehicle, mark the relationship of the wheel to the hub, remove the tires and the wheel, push the piston onto the caliper bore, remove the brake hose bolt, plug the openings in the caliper housing and the pipe, remove the caliper bolts, remove the caliper housing, inspect the bolt boots, inspect the piston boot, inspect the bolt boots in the caliper bracket and inspect the caliper bolt for corrosion or damage.

The procedure is to remove the caliper, the caliper bracket bolts, the caliper bracket, the boot bolts, and the bushings, inspect the bracket for cracks and replace the bracket.
