You shall remove the connector, disconnect the cable from the park brake lever, bend the retaining fingers at the frame bracket, and disconnect the front cable.

02/11/2022Q: How to adjust the parking brake cable?
A:
You shall remove the clevis pin from the lever, set the parking brake by pushing the pedal down 18 degrees, install a small chain on the lever near the spring on the bottom of the lever, turn the clevis until the pin slides freely in the lever with all slack removed from the cable, install the clevis pin and the cotter pin, release the parking brake, and rotate the drum to assure there is no drag.

A:
You shall release the park brake, loosen the nut at the equalizer, remove the connector, disconnect the rear brake assembly, bend the retaining fingers at the backing plate, and disconnect the cable.
