You need to install the valve pushrods and the valve rocker arm supports, and you need to apply prelude GM P/N 12345501 (Canadian P/N 992704) or equivalent to the following valve rocker arm contact surfaces. Then you need to install the valve rocker arm assemblies, and rotate the crankshaft balancer to position the crankshaft balancer alignment mark 57-63 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise from the engine front cover alignment tab. After that, you need to tighten the valve rocker arm bolts. Finally, you need to install the valve rocker arm cover.

The recommended torque is 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).

You need to remove the valve rocker arm cover, the valve rocker arms, the valve rocker arm supports, and the valve pushrods. Then you need to mark, sort, and organize the components for assembly, and you need to clean the components with cleaning solvent. After that, you need to dry the components with compressed air. Finally, you need to inspect the valve rocker arm components and the valve pushrods. Finally, you need to inspect the valve rocker support for excessive wear or damage.
