2000 Chevrolet Blazer Heater Hose

You need to ensure that you place the clamp on the hose before installing the hose on the vehicle.

You are recommended to apply lubricant, GM P/N 9985662, to each end of the outlet heater hose.

You need to prepare the J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers.

You need to drain the engine coolant and release the heater inlet hose clamp using the J 38185 at the heater core. Then you need to remove the heater inlet hose from the heater core and release the heater inlet hose clamp using the J 38185 at the intake manifold fitting. After that, you need to remove the heater inlet hose from the intake manifold fitting and open the heater inlet hose retaining clip above the right side valve cover. Finally, you can remove the heater inlet hose from the vehicle.
