2000 Chevrolet Blazer Engine Control Module

You need to remove the air cleaner assembly and nut, and you need to disconnect the electrical connectors. Then you need to remove the Ignition Coil wire to the distributor, and you also need to remove the accelerator cable bracket. After that, you need to remove the studs holding the bracket and the ignition coil to the intake manifold, and also remove the bracket and the ignition coil. Finally, you need to drill and punch out the two rivets holding the ignition coil to the bracket, then you can remove the ignition coil from the bracket.

You need to install the Ignition Control Module and the heat sink on the bracket with the 2 screws. Then you need to reconnect the electrical connectors.

You need to disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the distributor. Then you need to remove the fuel pipes. After that, you need to disconnect the Knock Sensor harness connector and remove the knock sensor retaining bolt. Finally, you need to remove the knock sensor.
