About Nissan Sentra
The Nissan Sentra is a four-door sedan sold by Nissan from 1982 to the present. Before 2006, the Nissan Sentra name was mainly used abroad, that is, the Nissan Sunny in Japan, but since 2007, with the increase in model size, it became the name of the Sylphy outside Japan, and the former name was not used in the Japanese market. The Sunny is also sold under this name in several South American markets. It has already lasted for eight generations. Our parts cover all the vehicles. If you need any help with the parts, you can always come and find us.
The Nissan Sentra B11 model was launched in February 1982 and was intended to be the successor to the Datsun 210 model, as well as a sales name for Nissan's fifth-generation Sunny B11 model in the North American market. Its body shape design is simpler than that of the Datsun 210, and its smooth lines provide four models: two-door slant back, four-door sedan, five-door station wagon, and three-door hatchback. Especially, the two-door Sentra was more popular in North America, and the original rear-wheel drive was replaced by front-wheel drive, which was better for the driver. The wheelbase was only 2400mm, so the size of the four-door and the station wagon was 4050×1620×1390mm, while the hatchback and the slant back were positioned as young and handsome, so their figures became longer and flatter, so they were given the size of 4135×1620×1360mm. 1985 saw the first minor revision, and the very first was canceled.

In 1986, the second generation Nissan Sentra was officially sold in North America, sharing the same B platform with its Japanese prototype series, and was sold in Mexico under the name of Tsuru II. This series has a good and benign performance on saving the cost of parts design and manufacturing, unified process, etc. The third generation Nissan Sentra shifted to B13 and was officially on sale in North America in 1990. From this model onwards, only the two-door/four-door sedan version is available in North America. The fourth generation Nissan Sentra was a B14, which lasted from 1995 to 2000. The shape design was more modern, and the body lines were smooth, equipped with many more enhancements and comforts than the previous generation, such as a sunroof. Airbags (SRS) were also used for the first time.
The fifth was a B15. This model of Nissan Sentra shifted its platform to MS, succeeding the B14 type. The model was redesigned by the brand's North American branch and the car began to split styles for different countries. The North American version was divided into nine different trims, the XE, GXE, GLE, SE, LE, S, SE-R, SE-R Spec V, and Special Edition. The sixth-generation Sentra was released at the Detroit Auto Show and was officially launched in North America in September of the same year, using the brand's C-platform development. The seventh-generation Nissan Sentra was launched at Beijing Auto Show in August 2012 and the eighth in 2019, powered by a naturally aspirated, 2.0L MR20DE inline four-cylinder gasoline engine.
