About Nissan Quest
The Nissan Quest was manufactured and marketed by Nissan in 1993. It is a front-engine and front-wheel-drive minivan. The model was discontinued in 2017. It left 4 generations behind. The first three generations were named in the order of V40, V41, and V42. The last generation was named the RE52. This was caused by the determination of the collaboration between Nissan and Ford in 2002. The fourth generation is also a transition to its successor, the Nissan Elgrand. The assembly lines were in Ford's Ohio Assembly which is located in Avon Lake, Ohio, and in CKD which rested in Guangdong, China.
The first generation of the Nissan Quest was offered engine parts including a 3.0L VG30E SOHC V6 which could produce 151 horsepower with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The model was marketed in 2 trim levels, a XE model and a GXE model. When it came to the American market, it was marketed under the name Mercury Villager. The model was capable of having 7 passengers at the same time. There was a removable bench for two seats in the middle. The three seats in the third row were also removable. When they were folded up, more room would be spared for cargo and riding experience while putting down allowed more passengers.

The second generation of the Nissan Quest was redesigned in America between 1993 and 1995. The exterior of the vehicle looked more aerodynamic and a sliding door on the driver's side was added. This made the Nissan Quest become the first 4-door minivan for Nissan since Axxess. The power system was replaced by a 3.3L VG33E V6 that was capable of 170 horsepower output. In 1999, the designer lifted more space for the model. A new trim level, the GLE was introduced into the market.
The Nissan Quest parts received more small upgrades in the next few years, including alloy wheels, individual retractable sunshades, 2 DVD screens, and improved front and rear fascias. The power parts were changed into a 3.5L V6 that could provide 240 horsepower and a 5-speed automatic transmission. The engine was lifted to generate 260 horsepower in 2016.
