About Nissan Cube
The Nissan Cube is a small car produced by Nissan between 1998 and 2019. Originally sold only in Japan, the Cube was also offered in the North American market from 2009 to 2014 and in Europe from 2009 to 2011. Although production for the US market ceased in 2014, the Cube will be available in Japan until December 2019. The square Cube is perfectly suited to the needs of the Japanese housing market thanks to its small size and apparent interior spaciousness. It is a high-performance vehicle with parts like a CVT and optional all-wheel drive.
The first generation Cube, the Z10, was launched in 1998. It was built on the same platform as the Micra and had the same 1.3-liter inline engine. Optional parts included a continuously variable transmission and all-wheel drive. The Cube is a link between the two fuel-efficient models in Nissan's range. The second version of the Cube was launched in 2002. Nissan's new Z11 chassis has allowed the model to be more compact and have a sharper shape, matching the car's name. Although the car is an economical car, it is not boring. Nissan has incorporated many advanced technologies into the Cube. It is popular not only because of its modern shape and style but also because of technological parts.

This model can be optionally equipped with e4WD, which sends power to the rear wheels via a small electric motor located under the rear seat floor when the front wheels are spinning. The electric system helps reduce drag when the wheels are in FWD mode. If the car is equipped with a CVT, the steering wheel controls and sport steering wheel button are located on the dashboard, next to the key lock button. All Cube models are available with optional parts such as an Ion filter for air purification and the Nissan Smart Key system, which allows the driver to enter the car without a key. Other special models have different body styles and fenders.
On November 19, 2008, Nissan showed off its third-generation Cube for the first time. This is the first generation of the Cube to be sold outside of Japan, including in North America and Europe. The new model has parts like a rear bumper with rounded, convex shapes, an asymmetrical rear window that is longer on the passenger side, and windows for both the driver and the passenger. The tailgate opens like a door on the side, not like a hatch that opens up. In countries that drive on the left, like Japan and the UK, the tailgate opens to the right. There are aqua stripes on the outside of the car, which are also found on parts like the speaker covers and cup holders.
