About Nissan Armada
The Nissan Armada is a large SUV ideal for large families or people who need large vehicles. Nissan launched this SUV in 2004 and equipped it with all the features needed to make traveling a pleasure. The first-generation Armada was assembled in Canton, Mississippi. The Armada was unveiled on April 17, 2003. It was developed between September 1999 and 2003 under the direction of chief designers Shiro Nakamura and Diane Allen and chief engineers Yuzo Sakita and Larry Dominic. Prototypes based on the Y61 Patrol were hand-built as early as 2001, and the first TA60 prototypes were completed and shipped for testing in early 2002.
The first-generation Nissan Armada featured a 5.6L VK56DE with 317 horsepower and 385 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 5-speed transmission with a choice of rear- or all-wheel drive. Some models ran on E85 fuel. Towing capacity is up to 9,000 lb. The company chose to hide the door handle parts on the C-pillar to visually resemble a two-door trailer. The updated model, which was developed in 2005, has parts like a 9.3 GB hard drive for music storage and a CF memory card reader. The Platinum version also has a power tailgate and electronically folding third-row seats.

For the 2011 model year, the Armada lost its SE and Off-Road trim levels and switched to a multi-tier system. Bluetooth and satellite radio became standard parts on all models and in the Platinum Reserve package for the 2013 model year. The navigation system was upgraded with parts like NavWeather, Zagat Survey, Bluetooth audio streaming, and a USB port. The DVD entertainment system installs screens behind the headlights. The interior door panels were upgraded in 2015.
At the 2016 Chicago Auto Show, it showed off the second generation of the Armada. The Armada is made in Japan, but the powertrain, which is an Endurance, is put together in Decherd, Tennessee. The Armada is now longer and wider, but its wheelbase and height are a little shorter. A seven-speed automatic transmission was added to the V8 Endurance engine. With these Nissan Armada parts, the gas mileage, speed, and torque were all improved, and the power went from 317 hp to 390 hp. The new Nissan Armada came out in December 2020. It had a new front end with a larger grille, C-shaped LED headlights and two new colors on the outside. Also, the taillights have been changed.
