The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG was one of the models from the Mercedes-Benz G-Class series. This car family had a long history of over 3 decades and has been known for its production of the four-wheel-drive SUV. The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG was introduced first in 2002 as the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG V12. This model was the first G-Class automobile with a V12 engine. It could produce the powering system with 437 horsepower and allowed the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h within 6.5 seconds.
In 2012, the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG was introduced with a facelift in performance and restyled standard parts and accessories. A new 5.5L Biturbo V8 became the replacement for the old 5.4L V8 of its predecessor. The new engine was able to have better performance in fuel consumption and emissions. Other parts and accessories of the car were also revised for better quality and a better view of the customer's garage. The exterior was given a brawlier appearance with matching parts and accessories including a single horizontal fin with twin chrome edges in the middle of the radiator grille and a more prominent 3-pointed star ornament in the middle, a new light-alloy design for the wheels, 3 enlarged airflow inlets on both sides and in the middle of the front bumper, and vertical chrome stripes to cover the small bumper guards. The production of this generation was discontinued in 2018.
