The Land Rover LR4 is the second generation in the Land Rover Discovery line. The Land Rover Discovery, also commonly known as the "Disco", is a series of medium to large premium SUVs, produced under the Land Rover marque. The Land Rover LR4 made its debut at the 2009 New York International Auto Show. The vehicle is available in GS, XS, and HSE trims. The Land Rover LR4 is an updated version of the LR3. The LR4 shared the same Integrated Body Frame structure, body-colored bumpers, and wheel arches with the LR3, but the LR4 has changed front and rear light units and a restyled front grille and bumper. Other significant upgrades were mechanical. Engines and gearboxes were improved, brake and suspension were refined, and the interior was more luxurious and contemporary. The LR4 was equipped with a all-new 5.0-liter engine from Jaguar Land Rover's range, and this V8 engine with direct petrol injection could produce 375 horsepower. Besides, an improved version of ZF 6-speed automatic transmission offered drivers an exciting riding. It only took 7.5 seconds for the Land Rover LR4 to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph.
