About Jeep Renegade
The Jeep Renegade was first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2014, and production began in late August this year. Starting in 2022, the Jeep Renegade will be Jeep's smallest vehicle, competing with the Compass. It will be built on FCA's Small Wide 4×4 platform, which it shares with other models from the brand, such as Fiat and Alfa Romeo. Front-wheel drive is standard on Jeep Renegade models, while AWD is available on Sport, Latitude, and Limited models. In the United States, the range includes Sport, Latitude, and Limited models. All models are available with front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. The Trailhawk has AWD only. The Jeep Renegade has a removable My Sky roof with two panels. It can retract like a standard sunroof or retract completely to let in more air. It is similar to the Jeep Wrangler.
The base Sport model is available with a 1.4-liter MultiAir turbocharged I4 engine or a 2.4-liter MultiAir turbocharged engine and a 6-speed manual or 9-speed automatic transmission. The car also features black steel wheels, a black grille, black side mirrors and door handles, a Uconnect 3.0 AM/FM stereo system with USB, 3.5 mm audio inputs, and four speakers. The cabin features dual-zone automatic climate control, cloth seats, a 3.5-inch monochrome display, keyless entry, and power locking. The Power and Air package include air conditioning and power windows. The Sound Group adds the Uconnect 5.0BT AM/FM stereo system with USB, iPod, and 3.5 mm audio inputs, a 5-inch color touch screen, voice control, Uconnect Bluetooth hands-free phone, and wireless stereo system, and six speakers. The top-of-the-line Altitude is an updated version of the Latitude. It features Sport and Latitude trim and glosses black interior and exterior.

The Jeep Renegade infotainment system has been upgraded with a new, more advanced processor and a larger screen. All screens are multi-touch, and user menus allow the climate control system to be customized. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility are now available. The engine is available with a 5-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive. The 1.3L engine is available with a 6-speed manual transmission, 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, or ZF automatic transmission with front- or all-wheel drive. The diesel engines are SCR-equipped and feature Euro6D Temp type approval. In October 2018, an updated version was launched for the South American market, with only aesthetic enhancements on all versions with the introduction of the Trailhawk bumper. The headlights and taillights are the same as on the previous model. Engines for the South American market are a 1.8-liter E.Torq Evo gasoline engine and a 2.0L Multijet diesel engine.
